Crack Inhibitor – Reinforcing Additive for Ceramic and Geopolymer Cements

Description

The Crack Inhibitor is a high-purity reinforcing additive formulated to improve thermal stability, dimensional integrity, and crack resistance in ceramic and geopolymer cement systems. It reduces shrinkage during curing and enhances long-term structural strength and surface smoothness.

This additive also lowers the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and increases the matrix’s tolerance to rapid temperature changes, minimizing microfractures and thermal shock.

Recommended Dosage

Add 5–10% by volume (approximately 50–100 mL of loose powder per liter of binder) or 25–50 g per kg of binder/cement before mixing with aggregates.

Benefits

  • Improves thermal and dimensional stability
  • Reduces shrinkage and cracking during curing
  • Enhances surface finish and long-term durability
  • Compatible with geopolymer, ceramic, and refractory systems

Storage & Handling

Store sealed and dry. Use gloves, goggles, and a respirator when handling powders. Avoid creating or inhaling dust—clean with HEPA vacuum or wet methods.
