Our Team

With over 42 years of experience in construction specializing in concrete, structural iron, and crane operations, William brings unique skills to Geopolymer International.

As an avid entrepreneur passionate about sustainable building materials, William started the company “Out of the Box Construction” in 2015 to lower the cost of building innovative structures using the latest technologies.

His current focus is on geopolymers, 3D concrete printing, and modular housing. William is taking a supportive position at GPI and looks forward to spending his free time vacationing and fishing with his wife Ghanima.

Jerry has an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, and over 20 years of Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Project Management, IT, Investment, and Office Operations/Human Resources experience managing operations in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. In his free time, Jerry enjoys skiing, surfing and playing hockey and is a former rugby player.

Born in Eisenstadt, Austria, Dr. Kriven is a Professor in the Department of Material Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also serves as an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering. Dr. Kriven earned her Ph.D. in Solid State Chemistry from the University of Adelaide in 1976, following her B.Sc. (Hons.) and B.Sc. degrees in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Her research focuses on advanced materials, including geopolymers for sustainable reconstruction and affordable housing.
